These terms cover your use of stairfit.co.uk and the online estimate designer. By using the site you agree to them. Last updated 1 September 2026.
Who we are
The site is operated by StairFit® ("StairFit", "we"), based inStoneleigh, Warwickshire. Questions about these terms can be sent to info@stairfit.co.uk.
Online estimates are guidance only
The online designer produces an estimate, not a quotation or a binding agreement. It is based on the information you enter and a standard stair pitch, and applies only to the works described using standard materials and installation conditions. A full onsite survey must be completed before any quotation or works are confirmed; the survey determines feasibility, final design and accurate pricing, and the formal quotation that follows may adjust the proposed works, add items, or withdraw the proposal if installation is not suitable.
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date shown, after which they may be reviewed. No payment is due at the estimate stage and nothing can be purchased through this website; payment terms are set out in the formal quotation once a project is confirmed. StairFit accepts no liability for decisions made on the basis of an estimate. The full estimate terms accompany every estimate PDF.
Quotations and orders
Formal quotations issued after a survey carry their own terms and conditions, which are provided with the quotation and take precedence over this page for the works they describe.
Using this site
You may use the site and the designer for their intended purpose: exploring, designing and pricing under stairs storage for a genuine enquiry. You must not attempt to disrupt the site, submit forms automatically, misuse the estimate system, or use content from the site in ways the law does not permit.
Content and intellectual property
The content of this site, including text, photographs of our installations, drawings and the designer tool, belongs to StairFit or its licensors. You may not reproduce it commercially without our written permission. Photographs show real projects; every installation is bespoke and results vary with each staircase.
Third party services
Survey bookings are made through TidyCal and are subject to its own terms. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
Availability and accuracy
We work to keep the site available and its information accurate, but provide it without warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error free. Prices shown by the designer are indicative until confirmed in a formal quotation.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Beyond that, StairFit is not liable for indirect loss arising from use of this website or reliance on an online estimate; liability for confirmed works is governed by the quotation terms.

Changes and law
We may update these terms from time to time; the date above shows the current version. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute relating to them.
